Bayview Revisited in May
A couple of weeks ago I visited this wonderful place south of Nakusp, looking for the first signs of spring. On a recent shopping trip to Nakusp I suddenly felt the urge to revisit it. Was I ever in for a big surprise! The sudden change from the winter’s greyness and the feeble stirring of nature waking up to the lush and intense green and the Canada geese walking in large numbers at the beach was indeed an overwhelming experience. I hope you like the photos as much as I enjoyed taking them. Enjoy.

It is the same here. Everybody wants to go to the beach and get sand in their clothes and hair and everywhere. Actually, a lake is often much better for bathing, though colder maybe.

a beautiful landscape, dear Peter. It reminds me a bit of Greece, where we have the sea and hills, too. Here everything is so flat that I can see on Tuesday who’s coming on Saturday, hehe. Have a nice day, kind regards Mitza

We used to love on the Prairies, where you could see for miles and miles wheat fields or prairie grass. Sunrise and sunset were spectacular. Greetings from summer like BC! Peter

It’s great to see how the summer goes at your place, Peter.. But, I still see snow at the top of the mountain. Is it there for the whole year?

On the north slopes of the high mountains the snow stays all year round.

Alaska is always beautiful. We are enjoying 24 hour daylight, beautiful flowers, gardening, hiking, fishing, camping and the opportunity to enjoy the great outdoors without snow.
