Bending, but not Breaking
It is good to have a focus when you go out into nature for a photo session. One way to sharpen your focus is to have a theme. With this in mind my wife and I went to the same trail leading down to the Taite Creek Campsite last weekend. One of the great laws of survival, not just for plants and animals, but also for us human beings, is to be able to bend, to be flexible, but NOT to break and succumb to the adversities of life. Here are the photos dwelling on this theme. Enjoy.

The pictures are beautiful but they still remind me of the cold. I just got in from walking the dog and cleaning off the car and it is 15 F outside. Perhaps you could post a summer picture? 🙂

Absolutely beautiful even in winter. Looks comforting, almost as a blanket covering the branches to get through cold months

That’s a wonderful method you’ve described here, Peter. It makes a lot of sense to go phototouring with a theme in mind instead of just hoping to find something worthwhile. Will try this soon when it gets warmer. 😉
