This Year’s Remarkable Indian Summer

It is hard to believe we are approaching the end of November and we are still being blessed with typical Indian Summer weather, which is most often occurring in late September or October. Yes, I would be untruthful if I claimed that we did not have any snow. But the wet stuff melted away within twenty-four hours. And then there was more sunshine and great opportunities to capture a few more images… Enjoy.

  1. Beautiful images from Arrow Lakes, Peter. This year, the colder places are blessed with warmer weather and the places that are usually warmer are getting the colder weather. Here in Alaska, they cancelled an ice festival because the ice had not frozen. Usually, we have very cold weather but the temperatures have hovered right at freezing or just below. Enjoy your warmer weather!

  3. Well, summer is finally over in the San Francisco East Bay Area. We had thunder and lightning last night. And rain, lots of it! I think that means fire season is over, too, and hopefully no more power outages!

Those are nice pictures of your Indian Summer, Peter!

    • Indeed, it is my hope that these images of a rare fine weather period in November would bring some joy to my readers. The weather now has turned bitter cold, well below freezing, but the sunshine continues. Have a great weekend, Des, and thank you!
