Wednesday’s Photos
While the weather feels miserable and the clouds hang depressingly low, it is best to focus on some creative indoor activities. Thanks to the many encouragements from my blogging friends, my wife has been very busy with her rock paintings. The floors are covered with old and new artwork. Here is but a small sample. Enjoy.
You have to be careful that the raptor doesn’t eat the other animals.

These are fabulous! I love how she finds in the rocks the right shapes for the animals. The family of wolves (or are they racoons as Cedar Journal said?) is amazing.

The stones in question represent racoons, which roam in our neck of the woods.

Peter, thank you for sharing Biene’s fabulous art. They really have a life of their own It is hard to choose a favorite. Blessings!

Peter, these are great! It would be fun to place a few in the yard where they’re not immediately noticeable. They would probably scare the heck out of a neighbor’s dog or cat who didn’t see them at first. Biene is so talented!

Placing the owls in the yard would be a great deterrent for mice and other pests. Thanks, Des!

The raccoons are terrific. I really enjoy those animals, and these are great representations. For a moment, I thought the one in the back was alive.

it would create quite a racket if they all came alive. Thank you for the encouraging comment!

I love her art. It is hard to have a favourite, but I especially like the racoon family and the eagle. And like Amy says, the way the shape of the stone fits the animal … or is it the other way round? is amazing. Maybe she sees the animal when she looks at the stone?

Just last weekend we were out picking up stones at the beach. Selecting the right stone is the key.

This is great! I like them all, but the Cheshire cat and raccoon family are my favorites.

Thank you, Robert! I didn’t know what a Cheshire cat was. For me a cat is a cat. Haha!

Die Waschbären sind einfach klasse. Alles andere ist auch toll, aber die finde ich am besten.💜

Once again, I am impressed with Biene’s rock art! I especially liked the raccoons, because they seemed to be curled up and in 3-D, which I’m guessing is just another example of how well she painted them!
