Natural Splendour of the Arrow Lakes

The Pleasures of Colour, Shape, and Taste

Look what I have picked from our raised garden beds. The strawberries plants were shipped to BC from Prince Edward Island two years ago. Now they are at the peak of their production. A bowl a day provides a healthy collection of jam, cake topping, or just the pleasure of eating them

  1. Nice harvest, Peter. The only time I buy strawberries is when they are in season from local farmers and our season just ended. The ones that get shipped and are white inside just aren’t as good. We thought about purchasing some plants but did not. Yours look very tasty.

  2. Wie lecker!! Da möchte man gleich reinbeißen!

  3. These may be the prettiest strawberries I’ve seen. Of course, when they’re in season here, I concentrate more on consuming them than on viewing them, so I may have missed a few other pretty ones along the way!
