Happy New Year!

May 2020 bring to all people on Earth a healthy portion of peace, good health and happiness! I also would like to apologize to my dear blogging friends who felt a bit neglected by the mere sprinkle of a few likes during the Christmas season.

Today at the beginning of a new year, I thought it would be meaningful and enjoyable to look back and provide a visual review of the photographic highlights of 2019. The video shows some of my best photos of the four seasons at the Arrow Lakes, BC, Canada. While some may enjoy living in areas of eternal spring and summer, I would miss the beauty that fall and winter offer to us living in the northern climes. Enjoy.

    Four seasons indeed.
    I’ve created also some videos about “my insects”, beginning with first shots in autumn 2017.
    I would like to post some of the videos at Youtube. How much does it cost to do this?

    • There are also places that are ugly, but it is the photographer’s job to find the beauty in the area, which he has chosen for his home. There is beauty everywhere, if people would just take the time to find it. Thank you, Des, for your appreciative comment! Happy New Year!

  21. Lovely photos and what a nice way to present them! I guess I’m one of those who lives in an area of eternal spring and summer, but I do appreciate the colors of fall (not nearly enough of that here) and the beauty of winter (although I don’t appreciate the cold). I’m looking forward to more of your beautiful pictures in 2020!

  22. Very sweet combination for the senses – for the eyes and for the ears, but also for the heart! I am sure Canada is a nice place on the planet and my favourite would be the spring photos; otherwise, every place where we or others may live has its own beauties, the whole planet is really unique and special; this makes us a lucky species so we should be grateful.
    What a pity that we are starting the 2020 with the terrible fires in Australia and the continuous destruction of the Amazonian forest… This is the beginning of the end….and is mostly because of the local governments who put finance ahead of healthy living….

    • You are so right, my friend, when you say that we are fortunate to live on our beautiful planet. What people in power do not recognize is that with the appriciation of earth’s beauty comes the responsibility to take care in its preservation. Thank you for your wonderful comment!
