Merry Christmas and Happy New Year

Last Post in 2021

As in previous years, I am taking a break from blogging during the holidays. My wife broke her leg on one of our walks down at the golf course and needs all my attention. I won’t be able to read and comment on your posts for the next little while. Sorry!

I would like to take this occasion to thank all my followers for their posts, kind comments and likes. Have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. During this time of the year, all people are yearning for peace. Let the light of love shine and bring hope for a better world. I selected a few photos of recent capture to present the theme of lights that are presently decorating our home. God bless you all.

Happy New Year

My wife and I had a very peaceful and relaxing Christmas. Even though it was a bit lonely because our children could not travel and visit us due to the Covid-19 restrictions, we made the best of it by going out for our daily walks. You guessed it we also took our cameras along. On Christmas Eve our five sons, their spouses and our five grandchildren got together on a Zoom conference. While it was not like a real family reunion we enjoyed seeing each other and did some old-fashioned carolling. It felt good to take some time off from blogging although I was sometimes tempted to peek into the posts of all my blogging friends. Here are a few of my pictures I had taken on our walks in and around our little village. Enjoy.

Happy New Year!

May the New Year bring Peace and Good Will to our Planet. Best wishes to all my blogging friends far and near! I have been taking a break to spend more time with family and friends during the Chrismas Season. My apologies to all who have been expecting comments. I did read all your posts and viewed the photos and acknowleded them with a quick ‘like’, but that was all I could do. Next week I will carry on my blog activites continuing  with Albert Scheitzer’s Seminars, the Klopp Story, Wednesday’s Photos, and Bill Laux’s Mining Era.
