Fall Poem
A couple of years ago I wrote a poem inspired by the splendour of fall just within our own yard, which represents a microcosmos of the wonderful world of the Arrow Lakes. I embedded the poem two lines at a time into the video that captured the autumnal mood. Enjoy.
It’s lovely

Peter , Peter !!!! You write poems as well ? Math and romance collide together ? Wow – I am so impressed . Is this hard working Bien? It might be her :). I just love the scene , nature and the poem – can I reblog it some time next week?

If you had attended my math classes, you would have discovered that math and geometry are intimately connected to art, music, even poetry. Best wishes! Peter.
Go ahead and reblog the post. No need to ask.

Well done, Peter! Also, I thought I would let you know that we in northern California received a present from on high today, a day before Thanksgiving: it’s raining!

That is good news indeed. Something Californians can truly be thankful for. Best wishes! Peter

Reblogged this on Plants and Beyond and commented:
This is sweet and serene. Just like I see nature. Peter is a mathematician/nature lover/writer and a poet that I admire very much. Love this post about nature and his dear poem. It calms me and makes me happy 🙂

Lovely, Peter (finally had time to watch now that the holiday is over). I marvel at how you are able to write poetry in English even though it is your second language. I know you have lived in Canada for a long time now, but nevertheless I am always amazed by the way some people can become so completely fluent and literate in another language.

I guess total immersion is the key to pick up another tongue and a certain degree of linguistic talent to go with it. Thank you for this kind comment, Amy!
