Wednesday’s Photos
Above, Below, and Through Branches
The first three pictures demonstrate how much a landscape gains in beauty, when branches are being used for framing and are lending support to a given scenery. The last picture is showing the sun piercing through a dense forest with its light being scattered and refracted by snow and ice in the branches. Enjoy.
Now that landscape is simply gorgeous! 🙂

Yes, indeed, even though we are still in the grip of winter.

Spring is taking its time. But there are some signs like being above zero during the day time. Thank you for your comment, Arv!

Light shining through the braches and refracting into the rainbow colours are simply fascinating.

Was für ein klares Farbenspiel, besonders auf den ersten drei Bildern! Meine Lieblingsfarbkombi: blau-grün-weiß, vielleicht mit einem I-Pünktchen-gelb 😉
herzliche Grüße an dich, lieber Peter,

Mal sehen, ob ich ein gelbes Pünktchen bei meiner nächsten Fotoserie einsetzen kann. Gute Nacht, Ulli!

Beautiful. It’s been a hard winter, but the snow does produce some undeniably wonderful scenes.

Beautiful. Those blue skies are stunning.

When the sky is clear after a heavy snowfall, it is especially brilliant and shows its deep blue colours. Thank you, Su!

Peter, it is amazing how much the beauty of God’s creation comes out in your photos. So glad you shared them with us. The blue sky is echoed in the lake and the white puffy clouds echo back the white snow. Well done! 🙂 Hazel

Finding the right frame is the key. And when nature provides it, all the better. Thank you, Cornelia, you always write such great comments!

I love your photos, as usual Peter. The first and the second are my favorite. They are beautiful and amazing. It is like contrast combination between the snow and the sun altogether. All all beautiful colors are there: white snow, blue sky, and green plants. It makes them perfect..
