Natural Splendour of the Arrow Lake

Wednesday’s Photos

Gallery of Wildflowers

Two weeks ago my wife and I stopped at a promontory overlooking the Arrow Lake, where we often have taken pictures of the lake below. This time our focus and theme were the wildflowers, which were blooming now in great profusion everywhere in our valley. We were truly rewarded with so many delicate and incredible flowers in various stages of development that I broke the no-more-than-five-photos rule for my posts. It is my hope that you will like them as much as I did. Enjoy.

And I don’t even know the name of this flower. I am so glad you liked and gave reasons for it.

Beautiful flowers from the Arrow lake. The first two look like orchid for me, aren’t they?

That’s what they look like, but they are definitely NOT orchids. I am not a botanist and cannot give the names of the flowers, except for the last one, which is a tiger lily.
