Lovely video—not only because of the scenery, but because it reveals the love between the two of you in a very indirect and subtle way.

Vielen Dank! Dein lieber Kommentar hat uns gut getan, liebe Birgit.

What a lovely video. I like Biene’s mittens — they reminded me of those now-famous mittens that Bernie Sanders was wearing at the inauguration last week! Will the absence of snow affect you this summer, or does most of your water come from snow pack in the mountains?

No worry, there is plenty of snow in the mountains. Besides winter is not over yet. But being able to go for little hikes along the lake gives us a lift in spirit and makes the winter a bit shorter.

“It will definitely shorten the winter.” Are you convinced you won’t still get a blizzard?

Winter isn’t over so there is always a possibility of a snow storm in February or even in March. It is snowing right now, but rain is in the forecast for tomorrow.

How pretty! And how nice to have so little snow you could go on that beautiful hike!

The road we used that day is usually completely snowed in and makes the place inaccessible.
