Natural Splendour of the Arrow Lakes

Wednesday’s Photos

Advent Impressions

Signs of the approaching winter are now beginning to tell us in our neck of the woods that the dark season is upon us. But for those, who keep the candle burning in their hearts and have their eyes wide upon for the wonders of God’s creation, the brightness of the snow and the green colours of branches bring joy in fond anticipation of Christmas. It is a time for reflection away from the hustle and bustle of last-minute shopping in the peace and quiet of a landscape at rest. Enjoy.

Please note this is the last post before Christmas. I need to take some time off for the family. I wish all my readers a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

Something very touching is the following video a friend had passed on to me yesterday.

  1. Merry Christmas, my friend. Enjoy your family, and may 2020 be a year of peace. May there be no more soldiers killing each other or people hating each other.

  2. Peter, your photos are just pure art again, exactly my taste, the beauty of the detail. (Not that I don’t like your landscapes … 😉 )

Good that I finished my story then, is it not? How would you have coped with the suspense? Haha! I will also be offline as long as our visitors are here.

A wonderful Christmas to you and your family … und einen guten Rutsch in das Neue Jahr!

  4. Even though it does not get to freezing here, the days of just a few hours of sunlight, and many even without with the winter fog and occasional cloud, are a nightmare. A few weeks of cold weather, in a generally hot place, are welcome. But I wish the sun stayed put.
Wish you a wonderful 2020, Peter!
